63mm and 75mm PE80 Gas Pipe Now Available in SDR13.6

Radius Systems would like to advise their customers that PE80 gas pipes in SDR13.6 are now available in 63mm and 75mm diameters. PE80 SDR13.6 has a reduced wall thickness over the equivalent pipe diameter bringing you the following benefits:

·         An increased internal diameter

·         Maximised pipe capacity

·         Reduced pressure loss

·         A lighter weight pipe

These additions to the 63mm and 75mm range are all fully approved to GIS:PL2:2.

Please note that the SDR 13.6 range may result in changes/modifications to the following installation equipment and tooling:

       Squeeze off equipment

       Live mains insertion

       Pipe pushing equipment

       Pipe towing heads

       Pipe test ends
