Join UPlus at the Opening of its New Scottish Depot
UPlus, the specialist installation services division of Radius Systems, is expanding its depot network by opening a new purpose equipped facility in Livingston, Scotland on Thursday 29 July 2010. There will be demonstrations, a raffle and refreshments served from 10am to 4pm and everyone is welcome.
The Livingston depot, the third UPlus depot to be opened, will provide a base in central Scotland from which services can be delivered to onshore pipeline operators - with the confidence of a local contact and support.
The depot will offer a range of services and products to the natural gas, LPG, water and wastewater utilities and private customers. Our portfolio of expertise extends to public and private sector works, large and small projects and specialist areas such as licensed nuclear sites and marine environments. The UPlus depot can supply:
- Installation services; such as polyethylene (PE) bag stop up to 630mm, PE and metallic under pressure drillings on gas and water pipelines, metallic bag stop, Iris and stopple operations, cold cutting, PE pipe welding, test and commission services, including chlorination of new water mains and bespoke fabricated fittings
- Materials; PE pipe, electrofusion and compression fittings, barrier pipe, ducting and more
- Training; City & Guilds and EUS courses
- Hire of equipment; for both metallic and PE systems, electrofusion, butt fusion equipment, squeeze off equipment, flow stop and cutting equipment.
